The Earl of Normanton, Idmiston

What do you mean you live in the Bourne Valley, or regularly pass through it, and still haven�t visited The Earl of Normanton? Shame on you! Alan and Nicky have been running this splendid Village Pub for over ten years now and it goes from strength to strength. In my humble opinion, this is probably the best of the Bourne Valley pubs, particularly if you enjoy freshly cooked and very tasty food, (there is something on the menu for everyone) together with an ever changing range of well kept Real Ales. There are usually five to choose from, including two regulars, Summer Lightning and Flower Pots, with usually three Guest Ales as well as good lagers and cider. This Pub can also boast a strong and loyal following of regulars who are always happy to offer all new visitors free guidance and advice!
Situated on the A338 on the bend at Idmiston, it is difficult to miss, (indeed, some passing vehicles haven�t!) so the next time you�re on the A338, travelling between Salisbury and Tidworth, drop in. It will be well worth it!
