i have to agree with the other reviewers. this is a most odd, but most brilliant little pub. i have had a couple of memorable nights out there over the years, always resulting in a very sore head the next day. worth a visit for the jukebox alone and garunteed to meet a few 'characters'...

The Trafalgar, Portsmouth

myself and a group of friends had our christmas meal / night out here a couple of weeks ago. what a dissapointment! poor service, awful food and a fairly bland atmosphere. the trafalgar is a vast, souless bar. dark, disorientating, understaffed and unfriendly. the only redeeming feature is the standard, cheap(ish) JD drinks prices.
i won't be going back.
