Much better than the average score, I give it a 7!

Millers Arms, Mathern

Nice locals pub in quiet village, not really many beers on tap, 2 or 3 ales, couple of lagers. Last went down in the day for lunch - limited menu and the evening menu didn't look very inspiring. A shame as this used to be a good pub with a very nice restaurant!

The Piercefield, St Arvans

This has always been a funny pub, lots of potential, nice decor, food is good, but like the previous reviewer said, the service has always been terrible, I've been there with work mates (with only maybe 10 of us in the party) and it's taken them an hour to bring us any food even though we'd pre-booked. Needs to be run properly!
