The Barley Mow, Shoreditch

This is a great pub. Beer is well maintained and the manager is friendly and welcoming. It's a pub, a proper pub, if you want trendy wine bar, then Shoreditch is full of them, this place is a breath of fresh air. Personally I hope you all hate this review and stay away, as the pub is just busy enough to give it atmosphere without being packed and I don't want that spoiled.

The Trolley Stop, Kingsland

This pub is now under new managment, although still quiet, it is now starting to pick up. The new people are very friendly and that makes it worth popping in for a beer and a natter. They've just launched a cocktail menu also, which is a new thing for the area.
