The Golden Lion, Caterham

Could this pub get any worse, well yes.
Now they have a tattooed boyfriend of the daughter who threatens everyone in Caterham.
The grandson is the local graffitti artist who has managed to get his picture on the front of the local paper. (They must be so proud).
They have now started and meal and a drink promotion, that when you read the small print is actually a meal from the lunch time menu with a soft drink or tea or coffee.
Will not be going back soon, and would everyone else to stear clear.

The King and Queen, Caterham

What an amazing pub.
You never catch the landlady working (wish I had a job like that) and the bar staff seem to change constantly.
Having said that, the bar staff try their best, but when the pubs busy and no help is offered, or expected ! the waiting times get longer and longer, especially if they are working solo.
The head chef, who is partial to a Stella has become a local talking point, about who he is going to threaten or abuse next.
I can confirm what the last reviewer stated about the Jubilee weekend. How to alienate your locals.
Still as long as the money is coming in Fullers wont do a thing.
