The Old Cobblers, Rawtenstall

i have been eating at the cobblers for many years for various occasions ie family birthdays christmas day etc. but recently the standard of food has gone down hill the last time we went there were several mistakes in a meal for five of us .the adults were given child meals and were actually smaller than the childrens meals themselves, several items were missing off the kids meals. and althought paying extra for adults pudding they were also the same size as the childrens sundaes . i do have to say that the food was quite nice but as a pregnant woman a childs portion on a childs plate including one roast potato and a very small spoonful of mash was not satistifing. And to make matters worse the customers next to us was given a full sized roast dinner which was probably four times as big. I i did ask staff about this and althought the member of staff i spoke to was very pleasent i didnt think she took it seriously she said the kitchen may have ran out of bigger plates and did say sorry !! but we still went home hungry!
