Alfold Barn, Alfold

Had lunch on a friday, great building and very good food.

Service a little slow and guy waiting tables did so in shorts and a polo shirt, not quite what you might expect.

Having said that he was very attentive and friendly.

Good pub.

The White Hart, Witley

This really is a proper local!!
Old beams, traditional feel and excellent home cooked food. Had the cheese and bacon burger, very good, home made ground beef patty.

Holsten, Master Brew and Spitfire are main beers.

Great staff, friendly chef and very attractive breasty bar maid, what else can you want.

Has to be tried.

The Swan Inn, Chiddingfold

Oh dear, what has happened to this once lovely gastro pub. It appears new owner, an overly zealous and really quite irritating man has decided to turn it into what can only be described as a brothel. The colous are horrific, and the whole atmosphere has gone. Also food is mediocre.

Such a shame this was a great place to socialise and spend your evening.

They have taken out the main bar, so nowhere for "locals" to hang out.

Will not be returning until new owners and restored to its former self.
