A good clean working man's boozer. The real ale was in good condition and they have a good selection of malts. A great place to escape her indoors when she's shopping.

A pleasant bar situated in the basement of the Brentwood hotel. Great choice of real ale and good food. About 5 minutes walk from the middle of Union st.

Good choice of real ale and the barman was very helpful, it was also a very busy with lots of conversation and atmosphere. A decent pub, worth seeking out.
