Crown Inn, Westcott

Lovely pub with a warm and traditional interior with two open fires. Very much a relaxed atmosphere which suits the intelligent drinker.

Great ale/bitter, usually three different local ones on and good range of wine, spirits and lager.

Food is worth walking a country mile four, all home cooked traditional food, sourced locally, with creative twists (always cooked while you wait and generous portions). Game Pie here is a must when it is on the board.

Very much a locals pub but newcomers are never made to feel anything but welcome (very popular with walkers and passing tourists). Very nice landlord who is helped by two sons run it. They make a point of getting to know their punters and what they like and it shows. Very few truly decent, non corporate and community focused pubs like this in Britain so make the time to visit and support this great place.
