The Ship Inn, Wadebridge

I would definitely not recommend this pub for food. I ordered ham, eggs and chips on the 3rd September 2010 and although it looked and tasted lovely, it wasn't until I had eaten the top layer of food that I found a dead fly on the bottom of the plate lying on its back. On complaining to the waitress I was asked if I wanted replacement food which I quickly declined and said I wasn't happy. The owner of the pub then came over (who was very drunk) and said that he had gone to Fifteen the other week and he had a fly in his food, he had ordered another meal and got on with it. He was very rude and was basically telling me a fly in your food is OK.

I CERTAINLY DO NOT RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO GO THERE AND I AM REPORTING THIS TO ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH.
