The Horse and Groom, Rushlake Green

Visited this fine village pub recently with a crew of weary travelling companions and found it to be a warm and welcoming hostelry. The choice of ales, lagers and wines was excellent with 3 Shepherd Neame offerings on tap. I opted for the Late Red, the virtues of which were extolled admirably by the bar man, so much so that I was salivating impatiently as he pulled my pint! The menu was eclectic and interesting and everything was served superbly and with a smile. Found the landlady to be very hospitable and seemed genuinely interested in our enjoyment and feedback. Will be back...soon.
