The Punch and Judy, Tonbridge

My current favourite Tonbridge pub, the P&J is is an excellent traditional public house with a good range of beers. Live acoustic music Tuesdays 9-11 and Sundays 6-8 provides an excellent opportunity to see a wide range of local talent. But it's a great place to go at any time.

The Foresters Arms, Tonbridge

I've visited this pub a few times recently and have been pleasantly surprised. The beer is excellent. The manager and other staff are very friendly. The pub is newly decorated in a style reminiscent, perhaps, of some smart Italian restaurants, but very comfortable.

The High Brooms Tavern, High Brooms

This pub is an absolute gem and worth visiting just to see the decor. High Brooms isn't exactly on everyone's route (unless you live there) but the pub is only a short distance from the railway station and the only surviving pub in High Brooms. The Morland Original is a good beer well kept. The acoustic music night is entertaining. There are also well-attended ukulele nights. If you like a pub with old-fashioned atmosphere, this is it.
