I just wanted to mention another point ,if you are thinking about visiting this pub you need to check the price they charge for drinks before you order they are the most expensive we have found even more expensive than my golfclub be warned .

Yes have tried this pub on three occasions mainly because they allow dogs in, unlike previous reviews i have found the service to be good.Its a bit dated and tired inside its the sort of pub for a cheap snack not a a la carte meal, the first time we went the food was ok, the second it was just ok barely hot and very bland.We went again today and the food was terrible,infact mine was not edible and i sent it back twice and then told them not to bother and remove from the bill. Thankfully there is a tesco express nearby will not eat there again
