The Vine, Hillingdon

I visited the Vine on 22/12/08 we have been there at least 8 times previously. (each time costing between 45 to 88 pounds)
The menu had changed (thats ok) the prices had increased (ok as well). The service and food however was less than adequete. When we dared to point this out the supervisor that evening became very confrontational and power hungry. Instead of discussing the issues quietly and calmly with me she stood about 2 feet away and raised her voice so other customers could hear. Very unprofessional and unplesant. When someone tells you respectfully and quitely that the food is not the same standard it usually is that does NOT mean a discount is wanted. We shall not return and maybe the people in charge should realise there are many resturants who not only provide amazing food but they also make you feel welcome enough to want to return and spend your hard earned cash!
