The Old Fisherman, Shabbington

I have to say that I have been visiting this place for a few years now, and despite it being very busy during peak summer months, I have never been disappointed. The food is freshly cooked and portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable in comparison to similar pubs/restaurants in the area. The steaks are renowned in my group of friends to be amazing, and the desserts (if we have room) are always delicious. The riverside is a perfect location for spending a summer afternoon or evening, and all staff try their hardest to make your stay enjoyable and as easy as possible. Book at peak times to avoid disappointment, and (unlike other reviewers on here, seemingly) have a bit of compassion for when it is incredibly busy. I'd like to see any of you run such a busy pub!
