Yup, indeed civilised, clean and excellent service. Superb range of ciders and ales. Thai food is pretty good, beer garden renovated. No complaints really.

Kings Head, Crouch End

Bit of a disappointment i.e. service, pint and price. Had to ask to fill to the top. But spacious and clean.

The Henry Reader, Crouch End

Can't get over the positive reviews. was in a few months back and asked about the quiz night and karaoke, non existent, the same with the food. Not as described by this website.
Would like to say the experience was good none the less but my guinness glass was dirty, apparent after drinking a fair bit of it, so I didn't make a fuss - I am over critical on this sometimes but it doesn't hurt to give an extra scrub or whatever needs to be done. Weird vibe too. Going to leave it there and won't hurry back. Guiness was above average but can find better elsewhere.
