The Chatsworth Bar, Acton

Well what can I say -- the food was unbelievable (try the crab cakes or steaks) especially at the price!!! To moomin below who noted the food was expensive, perhaps you're comparing it to run of the mill microwaved pub food -- but you'd be better served comparing it to a top restaurant.

The Chef and Staff were very friendly and the owners like to take a hands on approach and seem to always be there, which is a nice touch. A late licence too now on Fridays and Saturday means that they're open till 2 -- finally meaning there is a choice in Acton for people to stay out late and have some serious fun -- with some class!!

But Sunday is simply divine with the roast lunch (not being a culinary genius myself I find it very handy to meet my mates there).

Can't believe a place like this exists in Acton -- now all we need to do is bulldoze most of the high street and start again and we should be on our way!!!

The Puzzle, Acton

awful - absolutely awful. I use to go here alot a few years ago and thought I'd pop back in last Sunday. The food has nose dived and is way below where it used to be (they even got the nachos wrong).

the bar-girl was useless and unhelpful.

Tables weren't cleared and in general the place is now sterile.
I won't be going back now with the greater choices of Bars we now have in Acton - The Chatsworth and those on Churchfield road.
