Brilliant, brilliant pub - Real Ale lovers this is your idea of heaven - they even have their own real ale brewed on site which is very quaffable - the bubbly landlord was telling me about there beer festival over Easter weekend - 20 real ales, cider and wine - I will move in I think - see you very soon.

The Old Ship Inn, Upwey

Popped in to give this pub another go - DON'T - new managers have gutted the pub of all character and he is really quite rude - arrived 10 mins before the pub officially opened (front door was wide open so wondered in) asked for a coffee and was told to wait outside until the pub was 'officially' open in 10 minutes - left instead and went down the road to another pub. Never again.

Unfriendly, unwelcoming, expensive - what a shame as it looks great from the outside. My partner sent his food back TWICE .......... what a shame.
