A young , very young 55 year old British bloke living in Cape Town South Africa. I visit Uk regularly to see family and friends etc. I am an avid pub goer, (ask my wife) and my holiday photographs are listed in grouped in Pub lots.
Would love to write a book titled Pubs i have visited..... Followed by Pubs I like "The sequel" and the third novel Pubs I won't be returning to....
Pet Pub hates..... People who think they can make a lot of money buying a pub but who are patently not suited to it.
Pet Loves....People who buy pubs and treat their guests as family.
Best Pubs are owner driven....Don't leave a youngster running your pub who has no experience of life and of running a pub. Cheers mates....

The Admiral, Reigate
A pub I was introduced to by my son and his mates on a visit in 2005 and I recently visited early this month (july 2007). I was made so warmly welcome by owners Peter and Zioy and sincerely as well.
The pub lacks the glitz, flashing lights and false stuff of the centre pubs but more than makes up for it by a local that you can sit and drink in and talk about life. The pub garden at the back is very nice and good for kids.... A visit to reigate will always have the Admiral on my diary....
