Good beer, amazing building, nice atmosphere, shame about the bearded long-haired wally that runs it.

Old City Bar, Canterbury

It might be the pub nearest my house which makes it my regular haunt, but it's also the best pub in the city for those who don't want something too loud and who don't want to spend 10 minutes waiting to get served.

Brendan, the Kiwi managing the place at the moment, is a good egg and they'll always put the football on for us sports obsessives.
