The Willoughby Arms, Kingston Upon Thames

What an amazing amount of non beery froth! The Willoughby is one of the most open and non threatening pubs I have come across. ( Admittedly, I have less experience than some of the posters.) One of the best features of TWA is that you can join into almost any conversation in the main areas and with the wide range of people the conversation is often witty and lively. For example last week I witnessed a heated debate about the nature of the Holy Trinity! The conversational level is more conventionally football or current affairs related and benefits from the verbal equivalent of 'beer goggles'. But the pub draws a wide range of creative types as well as the �cowboys� and benefits greatly from a cosmopolitan mix rarely found in the pubs of Kingston.
