The William IV, Truro

A smashing City Centre pub & eating house.
Lots of food on offer – with some unusual items for bub fare.
Considering lots of food, it didn’t smell ‘greasy’ or ‘foody’.
The landlord seemed a smashing guy, with anecdotes & local knowledge – but not over bearing like some.
Fabulous Tribute, and Guinness. We were going to try a couple of City pubs, but stayed there.
Only let down - no car park.
Will certainly be back on our next visit.

Royal Standard, Hayle

Utterly soulless.
It's supposed to be wheelchair friendly, but has several steps at both entrances.
Smoke Free outside Area - Where ? Both outside areas have ash-bins for smokers, and are used freely.
Morose staff but average ales.
Soulless inside & out.
Won’t be going back.
