The Butlers Arms, Pleasington

initally offered 3 courses for a tenner! The starters are basic... ok but what more do you want for an appitiser! Then with about ten main courses to choose from brilliant! My wife aked if another menu was available and the waitress offered us an a la carte menu AND a bar snacks menu (at 7.00pm in the main dining room!) we had choise of home made beef lasagne to sea bass with chorizo with roquette, new potatoes and pesto! viva la choise! The bar snacks menu said it was served with chips but she asked and it was served with a mixed green salad and a side of garlic bread, i went for the pork an leek sausage simply with mash and we both were presented with full plates of really good food-they good choise of bitters on cask (with one changing regularly we were told )and a couple of none alcholic lagers-the holsten none alchohol was recomended for my better half-as she was driving- as having "a full hoppy taste just like a good German beer" by the obviously well trained bar man-couldnt fault our visit and at the end of it all as we were both a bit full opted to share a sticky toffee pudding-being cheaky we asked for ice cream and cream- and enjoyed it fully! Take our advice ask and you shall recieve!
