I love pubs where you can sit at the bar and natter to anybody. Can't stand big TV's (prefer none at all) loud music unless its a live band, yobs, oiks and generally unpleasant people, screaming kids, pool tables and fruit machines.

A fantastic quirky little one bar pub full of atmosphere. Has a no TV policy, hosts a variety of odd events under the banner 'the culture conspiracy. Ian the manager has made a real effort to turn this pub around in the last year. You can order take aways to the pub and they will provide plates etc. Bring your own CD's and they 'might' get played
