The Evening Star, Brighton

I always enjoy coming to this pub ahd having a comple of pints of thjeir fantastic hophead, but I have a remark to make - I am an open minded personand have seen a lot of things over the years, and I am comfortuable with nudity in the approrpiate situations - on several foreign holidays me and my wife have visited such beaches and ejoyed partaking in the sprirt of things, but call me old fashioned if you will but to me a real Ale pub is not a location for nudity!

So you can imagine my shock when I arrived one aftetrnoon and pretty much EVERYONE in the pub was naked, I asked the charming barmaid what was hapepning and she informed me that it was one of their 'naked afternoons', people of all shapes and sizes clutching their pints of ale and standing around in all their glory, I hve to say I felt thoroughhy overdressed, but was not about to start undressing just to be 'part of the flock'.,

I'm no prude but if this sort of activity is gong to be happening it would be good if you coudl inform customers in advanc as you can imainge it was quite a diconcerting situation althouh I did stay for a couple of hopheads anyway. Other tthan that it is a fantastic pub and I'm sorry to gripe about what seem to be a long standing tradition.
