Hello, I'm 26 (oooh soon to be 27) and living in Thurso (very far north of Scotland) doing a PhD in environmental chemistry. I love doing lots of sports such as kayaking, surfing and mountain climbing. I also work one night a week in our local pub...The Comm Bar!

Very nice pub, good beers and great food! Often pop in here after a surf at Melvich or further west! Nice friendly staff and locals!

The Commercial Bar, Thurso
Won pub of the year in the Daily Record!! The Comm Bar has a Folk Session every wednesday night starting around 9pm. All welcome. Music is mainly Scottish & Irish and anyone can join in! Great craic and nice friendly bar staff (even if I do say so myself)!!
