The Bridgend Inn, Govilon

Visited this pub whilst travelling on the Monmouth and Brecon Canal. There's a big sign up on the canal side advertising the pub. Only trouble is it says theyre dog friendly when theyre not. You can sit outside on the patio/carpark or be banished to the rather uninspiring back bar. No exceptions, even for well behaved small dogs on leads. Food was OK, if nuked in a microwave and beer was excellent. Lounge bar looked good, only wished we could have sat there.
