Nothing changes then. Still new customers come and go and make the same comments regarding the rude and ignorant bar staff.
What a great pub this could be,
as soon as Lucy and Regan leave.
And good riddance to the sour pussed wenches I say.

The Old Maypole, Ilford

My Dad drank here from 1936.
I saw Duanne Eddy and his band live here in 1975.
This has always been a great local pub.
Always will be.
The landlord and his wife, and family, are quality.
Compared to the Alfreds Head, the Fairlop Oak, or any other local pubs, this is best.
And as for the local tearabouts...just don't upset them.
