Good food, nice and very busy in the summer, never been a fan of eating in quiet places. nice beer etc, my tip is after an evening meal and a few drinks pop out as the light is fading at get an amazing view by out across the loch.

The Pitcher and Piano, Soho

I am no fan of 'Pitchers and Pianos' at the best of times but the times I've had the misfortune to go here I've regretted it. The last time (and it will be the last time) I was treated with disdain by the barstaff for not wishing to leave my card behind the bar, this is a increasingly annoying feature of frequenting bars, I mean I don't mind being asked if I want to do this but when I say 'no thank you' i don't expect sneering and implying I'm some kind of loser, avoid this place!

O'Neills, Shepherds Bush

It's an O'Neils, nuff said! to be fair when its busy there is a fair atmosphere and O'Neils do a good job on their pub food so if you are in Shepherds Bush and don't feel up to taking a risk then a safe if unexciting option.
