The Leather Bottle, Earlsfield

We spent a great Saturday here drinking the hours away. Lunch was pleasant, beers are a very good range of the typical Youngs selection and the staff were all helpful. The seating area up by the fire is most agreeable! I can imagine it gets crowded in the summer (massive garden) and I look forward to trying to get a pint in then. Please lose the fruit machines!

The Halfway House, Pitney

I've only been once and I thought i was in heaven.
Not even eaten here but rumours are it's first rate.
10/10 for ale, 10/10 for decor and 11/10 for the staff.
Can't wait to go back.

Cloisters Bar, Edinburgh

I no longer live in Edinburgh, but i still dream about the Cloisters. 4 fantastic regular ales, 5 guests, a malt of the month, all at good prices. The best pub in the world?, but shhh, don't tell anyone, I want it for myself!
