The Anglers, Walton on Thames

I have eaten in the Anglers a number of times since the new manager has taken over.

Generally I think the standards of ervice have really improved and the food is great

It gets a bit busy at the weenends with everyone drinking coffee and hot chocolate (which BTW is really yummy) but to be honest I prefer a glass of decent wine- which is good because the wine list is much improved.

As for the food, the butternut squash curry is out of this world, and the burger is fab too.

New quiz night on Thursdays seems really fun and isn't to intrusive

All in all definately on the up and recommended.
