The Caledonian Bar, Crieff

Pub looks very nice, BUT:
-On the outside there's a sign which says there's no food on tuesdays;
-In reality they don't serve food on either monday or tuesday!
This is a pity, for almost all other restaurants in Crieff are closed on monday and/or tuesday. Only the Indian and Italian restaurants are open...

The Pennsylvanian, Rickmansworth

After visiting about 8 Spoons during my last holiday (june/july 2007 and many more in the years before) I can only come to one conclusion: This is the worst Wetherspoons I've ever been to! No chracter, lots of noisy youngsters, glass smashing on the doorstep... Pity! Most Spoons are well worth a visit, this one ins't!

The Royal Oak and Castle, Pevensey

After reading all the negative stuff posted on this site, my friend and I were a bit concerned about this pub. However, we had a lovely stay, with a decent pint, good food and a clean bedroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Of course, there could be some updating, but our overall impression is positive! Take a look and find out for yourself...
