I suggested this pub in June 2003, and 2 1/2 years on I'm moving back to Tooting. First stop, the Rose!

I was lucky enough to stay about 50 metres away from the pub for a couple of days and found the staff very welcoming and the food was excellent. Especially the sunday roasts and the steaks!
Only an 8 because it's rather quiet and you get the feeling you're being listened in on by the locals...
