The Jolly Sailor, Farnham

Stopped by this pub on sunday the 24th Jan to watch the football and have a relaxed afternoon. Despite the fact that we were each buying drinks and playing pool (which was 70p a game), we were told to leave by the barmaid. When I asked the reason for this, she claimed it was because "we were only drinking cokes" and that "the pub was not a communal area". For one thing, only a few of us had ordered cokes, most of us ordering pints of lager (although surely the pub makes more money from cola due to the lack of alcohol tax and how cheap it is to produce?). And surely a pub is a communal area? We were bewildered, and stated that we would not come back, to which we were told "good, and tell your friends not to come here either". This is very ironic as our friends in farnham are locals there, and I later found out that they are on good terms with that same barmaid.
I would strongly advise others not to visit this pub, as we were led into an embarrasing and insulting situation, for a reason that the barmaid seemed unable to disclose.
