went there today with a party of 12. food was average at best, service was appalling and we waited 1.5 hours from our allotted table time to when our forks first touched food. clearly this pub is living on its historic reputation. I had to force a tip of 25 quid from my friends for the poor teenage waitresses who clearly are not responsible for this sub standard establishment. over priced, crowded, tatty, below par pub grub and no concern that 5 children were famished by the time their charred food arrived 1.5 hours late.
