The Grandison, Bramfield

This establishment advertises it's self as a "Drinking and Eating" Pub. Forget the drinking part in fact forget the pub part!! Whilst they have a good selection of beers including real ales and other drinks available there is no space to either sit or stand to drink them, all the tables are laid for eating.
We visited this "pub" on Easter Monday at lunch time and the "manageress / landlady" ? when asked if there was some space we could use to have a few beers told us it was Bank Holiday - all the tables are reserved - what did we expect, so we drank up and left. Whilst we were not the most smartly dressed customers there, jeans and tee shirts, how were they to know how much we might have spent on food and drink had we been made welcome.
A good example of how to be rude and unwelcoming to customers. Still their loss is the Rose and Crown in Tewin's gain
