The Lodge Inn, Alsager

Easily the best pub in Alsager now, range and quality of beers is fantastic, only the best microbrewery ales carefully chosen by the landlord Phil including regular appearances from Thornbridge, Oakham, Beowulf and Townhouse breweries.
Decor is basic but with a nice beer garden for the summer and a great open fire for winter atmosphere is friendly and laid back without any prejudice for non regulars which the nearby 'Mere' should take note of. Some good music on offer weds nights in form of open mic/acoustic type stuff which is chilled and also friendly.
The only pub I've ever felt comfortable to go and sit on my own and have a beer in!
