The George, Eton

Absolutely dreadful pub - 6 of us went for lunch and the food was terrible. The melted cheese starter was cold (as was the "hot" winter pimms). When the mains came, one steak turned up with plastic on it, two other "rare" steaks turned up burnt to a crisp and completely rubber tasting and they messed up two of the other orders (mash instead of chips, chicken pie instead of steak & mushroom). But the worst part was that the staff didn't even apologise and quite frankly were pretty rude. Eventually they agreed to take some money off the order but then when the bill finally turned up they hadn't taken anything off!! Appalling value for money, terrible service from inexperienced staff - I would definitely NOT ever recommend this pub, ever!
