" You wouldn't go into Tesco and ask to taste something" (I have on the deli counter) And she says "No other pubs do round here except the Ship & Mitre" I named four other pubs within yards that do. " It's company policy not to give tasters" ( I'll be checking with Okells) The only taster had been requested by the ONE of us out of four who don't drink real ale so he ended up with his usual bottle of p*ss with a lime in the top. ( He enjoyed the pint of Cains he drank after they gave him a taster in Dr Duncans!). Not her fault that the kitchens were shut that night for refurbishment and we could'nt eat there and the food is normally great but I've spent a lot of money in there over the years and won't be going back because of her attitude. Shame really!
