The Pig and Whistle, Earlsfield

Notwithstanding the ongoing problems with the drains which do not make the toilets the most attractive, this pub has definitely upped its game in the past few months. I have eaten here several times and the quality and variety of food has been good, especially the specials board. It isn't the cheapest but the place has a bit of a buzz about it now and I reckon the best staffed for some years.

The Blue Ball, Walton On The Hill

Very good refurb that has actually restored a pub feel to the place.

Decent pint of Pride on all my visits, food seems popular in bar and restaurant, and nice garden.

Manager and staff friendly.

Hogsmill Tavern, Worcester Park

This was an East End pub demolished and transported to this site and re-erected here in the 1930s, I kid you not.

Used to be great by which I mean 30 years ago. Now of course a chain.
