The Fox, Chetwynd Aston

Nice pub. Beer in very good condition from a choice of four real ales. We only had the one as the extorionate city-centre prices were prohibitive.
Food is also good, but fell foul of the unforgivable error of cold plates. Talking of foul, the confit de canard was dry and crispy, certainly not how it should be. Service isn't great. No smiles, no enquiries about the meal, etc. Strange custom of serving tea/coffee crockery before pudding, then not clearing the pudding dishes before commencing coffees! All making for a cluttered and messy table.
If only they treated their customers as well as their beer!
