Ok, looks like the is the first comment on this place for well over a year, so mabye that explains things...

Went there yesterday after work (certainly not for the first time) and all was fine, in general the Bar staff need to cheer up a bit! However, my unfortunate experience was a pint of stella that tasted [at best] like it had a top in it, at worst it was a mix of something else or a really off pint. The thing that really pi$$ed me off was the fact that the (rather young looking) assistant manager wouldn't change it! It wasn't like it was nearly empty or any similar stunt - it was about 9/10ths full! To add insult to injury he poured it into another ping glass and said "try that" ?! Saying something like it tasted like flat stella. Not impressesed, I argued my point and insisted he compared it to another [fine] pint, at which point he stated I would have to take this up with the "her" and pointed to the person who served it and that 'someone had to pay for it'!! What kind of attitude is that? A manager, if the face of a customer refusing any responsibilty and passing the buck down to bar staff?!?! crazy.

I didn't get the pint changed, and another round continued, this time with a good pint, but next time we're going out, needless to say neither I or probably anyone else I was with who witnessed this dire customer attitude will be going back in a hurry.
