Solid above average gastro. Looking a bit tired now but the food is good and varied with price tag to match.

Pretty good - certainly better than before! Haven't tried the food yet but looks ok. A bit lacking atmosphere when I went in but it was a Monday. Will give it another go on a busier night.

The Chequers, Oxford
This should be the best pub in oxford given it's location and history but sadly it's not. Not awful but not very good either. Fine for a passing pint.
