The Dog and Duck, Winchmore Hill

Went there to watch the recent Arsenal vs Spurs game. Great atmosphere and banter, without a sniff of trouble. At half time, the Landlord handed around 4 large platters of sandwiches which were eagerly hoovered up.

Bar Staff are brilliant and serve upto 4 people at a time. Even when busy, you don't have to wait for ages to get a drink.

All in all, this pub is a real pleasure and run the way all pubs should be, with pride and passion. Thank you very much for a most enjoyable afternoon, even if Spurs did get hammered! Brilliant stuff, keep it up.

The Salisbury Arms, Winchmore Hill

A truly amazing transformation! New owners, new beers (15+ belgian draughts), great Sunday Lunch Menu (�8.90 for a roast!) Food served all day (Noon till 22:00), Non Smoking Area, chatty/attractive bar maids. Lots of good looking young ladies too.

I thought I was dreaming, but no, it is true. Thoroughly recommended.
