The Red Lion, Godalming
The 90's throw back "landlord" with the huge smelly dog is gone - but the pub with the best potential in the town still lacks any real direction. Apparently it has been bought by a chain and hopefully this will give it a lick of paint and a menu that won't induce pebble dashing or "big white phone to god" syndrome.
