As a visitor from America, and a pilot, I was told my money was no good in this pub (across from Castle Hill). In order to pay my fair share, I challenged the patrons to a game of darts. Being unwilling to lose, these friendly people managed to best me and I was able to buy a round! What a great place!

One of the friendliest pubs in Thetford. They really believe that, as an ark, they take in survivors.

The Black Horse, Thetford
The publican, who also runs the Green Dragon, is one of the friendliest in town. The food is excellent, the beer is wonderful. The patrons are also great. Especially a little old man who comes in from the country once a week because his village has no pub.
