The Florence Tavern, Islington

Excellent turnaround from a rather dreary pub into somewhere one could spend all evening. Hands-on management and staff who really care about the customer experience and are trying (and succeeding) in ditching the bad reputation of the previous tenants. It's a pleasure to find a proper pub without music or Sky Sports blaring out of every corner; where the emphasis is on conversation.
