We visted the malt shovel early may the food was ok BUT portions were far from generous so to make up for it we ordered a sweet only to find that also was small and the custard was only luke warm,,, unlikely to return

the chef was a unpleasant person he slapped meat & gravy on waiting plate, only two meats to choose from,no turkey/chicken, roast poatoes warm,oap prices increased, waitress was ok ,visit was 20th May
