The Jolly Miller, Bexleyheath

I've lived nearby for years and heard it was a cliquey pub, how wrong that was,
the locals couldn't be more welcoming and the bar staff are really friendly and good at their job. There is a new professional chef who has been there just a few months and the food is just out of this world and very reasonably priced, he even grows his own veg and all food is locally sourced, the whole place is overseen by the lovely landlord Vic.

Coach House, Bexleyheath

Went in at 5.30 on a Thursday evening with the wife and kids, it was very quiet, we got a table and ordered the two course carvery. the food was plentiful and very tasty as was the apple pie and custard, and all for 7.50 per head. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the Stella Artois was cold and refreshing. We only live round the corner and this was our first visit - but by no means our last, i would highly recommend it.
