The Pig and Whistle, Earlsfield

This pub is my local and is has been through a really dire patch over the last couple of years - really glad that it has finally been revamped. What a difference - this place is back how it used to be when we first moved here - a real local's pub with great food, drink and atmosphere. Well worth visiting especially if you went in the last couple of years and were disappointed! We didn't go for years walking to the Earl Spencer in preference - since the revamp we haven't been back to the Earl as the Pig is so good. Well done Barny!

The Inn At West End, West End

Went here for lunch after a morning at Bisley - loved it especially the adult friendly theme. Made such a welcome change from the pub/creche that sadly is becoming the norm. Food was excellent and very fairly priced - we sat outside in the beautiful garden and just happily whiled away a few hours. This lovely place - whilst not the cheapest - is certainly worth a try.
